Mike Baurer and Garrett Smith take their podcast on the road for the 2nd time as part of the 1st annual Philadelphia Podcast Fest!

Dan Scully - Dan is one of favorite people to chat with about film. His knowlegde of movies and movie history is astounding along with his quick wit and endless amount of energy Dan makes any stage performance 1000% better.

Notable: Nominee for "Best Bit" and "Best Podcast" (Super Crappy Funtime) in the 2012 WitOut Award and "Worst Podcast" at the 2012 WitIn Award.

Chris O'Connor - Chris has become one of our favorite comedians in the Philadelphia scene. As one of the co-host for No. 2 (#2) (Number 2), a weekly open mic at St. Steven's Green on Tuesdays, Chris's comedy comes alive along with his tremendous hosting abilities. This will be his first time appearing on our show.

Notable: You may have seen him as the star of the recent YouTube sensation, "Sameies"

John McKeever - John is one of my (Mike) favorite comedians in the city right now. Has preformed with Wyatt Cenak and has dates coming up with James Adomian, Joey Diaz and Ian Bag. John is a force to be reckoned with and we are so glad he is apart of this show.

What
The first annual Philadelphia Podcast Festival seeks to entertain and educate using the digital medium of podcasting. The Festival showcases twelve of Philadelphia’s premier podcasts during three nights of live episode recordings. A daytime workshop and panel discussion will detail the benefits and uses of independent media, explain “What the heck is podcasting?” and give participants the opportunity to talk with experts in the field.
Who
Participating podcasts include Storyshuffle, Talkadelphia, Sex with Timaree, Talking Nerdy, The Pincushion, Potent Brew, Rep Radio, Gettin’ Close, Podcheese, Comedy Food Sports, Trailer Trash, and Stark Raven Mad.
Geekadelphia’s Jo Pincushion will host the workshop and panel discussion.


When and Where
Live recordings: August 1, 2, and 3 at PhilaMOCA, 531 N. 12th St Philadelphia
There are two blocks of programming each night (7:00pm and 9:30pm), each consisting of two podcasts recorded in front of a live audience.
Workshop and panel discussion: August 2, 2013 at 2pm at PhillyCAM, 699 Ranstead St, Philadelphia
